Kélifos a company registered with the Greek Tourism Organization (EOT), in the register of tourist companies (ΜΗ.Τ.Ε.) under the registration number: 0829Ε60000131301 and whose registered office is located in Liapades, Corfu, 49083 GREECE. Kelifos is a travel agency and a Greek tour operator that offers the development and sale of trips tailor-made for Greece, wishes to inform you of the measures implemented to protect your personal data and your privacy in accordance with the legislation in force and more particularly the provisions of the Greek law and of European Regulation 2016/679 as well as the recommendations from the HDPA – Hellenic Data Protection Authority (hereinafter “the legislation in force”).

As responsible for the processing of your personal data, Kélifos wishes to respond to your concerns relating to the confidentiality of the information that you transmit to us by all means of communication, in particular: website(s) published and operated by Kélifos, chat, communications meetings with our advisers (hereinafter “the Communication Channels”) in order to offer you our products and services.

Data relating to your personal information

This is information about you as a natural or legal person, which you have voluntarily communicated to Kélifos via the various communication channels and which is essential for the design and realization of your trip (such as in particular your surname, first name, e-mail address, telephone number, postal address, date of birth, etc.).

Third Party Personal Information Data

As part of your quote request or your registration and subsequently your registration, you have the option of providing the contact details of one or more other people (other participants in the trip or people who participated in a gift list or other events (wedding, birthday….), person to notify in case of emergency…).

Kélifos will inform the people whose personal data it has collected indirectly, of their rights under this policy, during its first communication to the other people informed by email and including all the information useful for the organization of their trip. .

Minors

The various communication channels are, in principle, not intended for use by minors without the authorization of their parents or legal guardian. A minor aged at least 16 can request a quote for the organization of a trip and provide the personal data necessary for this purpose. Kélifos will endeavor to verify, taking into account the information provided and the technological means available, the age of the minor. Under no circumstances will the minor be able to finalize, validate and pay for the trip without the consent of the holder of parental authority.

Sensitive data

Kélifos is required to collect specific category data such as health data (disability, allergy or special conditions) and indirectly to know the religion, beliefs or personal convictions of the persons concerned although this collection is never direct and is only done by deduction (case of diet). These data are only collected for the purposes of organizing the transport and travel of the data subject and will not be used in any other way.

Duration of retention of your data

Newsletter : your data will be kept for as long as your subscription is active. You can end it at any time by unsubscribing in the link that will be indicated. 
Quotation request for travel services, registration and provision of travel services: the data necessary to process your request will be kept for the time necessary to establish an estimate or a contract then for the duration of your trip in accordance with the applicable legislation and in any case for the necessary duration to meet a legal or regulatory obligation. 
Commercial offers : your data will be kept as long as you agree to receive our commercial offers. You can refuse them at any time by unsubscribing in the link that will be indicated. 
Statistics and surveys : your data will be kept for the time necessary to establish reliable statistics and to process surveys carried out with you, with your consent.

In any event, in the absence of contact from you for a period of five years, your personal data will be archived for an additional five years before their definitive deletion or anonymization.

For which recipients?

Kélifos and its partners

We would like to inform you that in order to allow the execution of the purposes mentioned in point III above, your data may be stored, processed and transferred to Kélifos's subsidiaries and/or partners, in particular to the suppliers of the services reserved (hoteliers, carriers, etc.) or technical service providers (IT, hosting, email distribution, online payment service provider, etc.), which may be located outside the European Union.

Our subsidiaries and/or partners undertake to use your personal data only to perform certain tasks essential to the achievement of the purposes mentioned in point III above, in strict compliance with your rights with regard to the protection of personal data and in accordance with the legislation in force.

Non-partner third parties

Kélifos undertakes not to transfer or sell personal data concerning you to non-partner third parties. We do not share any personal data with agencies or companies for marketing or commercial purposes.

If the law, an authority (for example the tax authorities or the HDPA) or a judge were to force Kélifos to communicate personal data concerning you, Kélifos undertakes, as far as possible, to notify you. (unless Kélifos is not authorized to do so, particularly given the legal or judicial obligations that may be incumbent on it). 

Finally, we may buy or merge or be purchased by another company or dispose of all or part of our assets. In such a case, your personal data may be communicated to another company, but this communication will be subject to the privacy and cookie protection policy in force.
